Retrieve all mail again from ISP server

Hi All

A little slip of the fingers earlier has caused me to accidently delete all
of my e-mails,
and not just to the deleted bin, i mean shift+delete, grrrr

I've only just bought this machine and was hoping i could just copy my
e-mails
from my older XP machine, obviously when i set up the new e-mail accounts
it imported my several hundred e-mails from the tiscali ISP server on the
first run,
but is there a way to reinvoke this option to do a full download again ???
I tried by deleting my address account and reading it, but its smart enough
to
know its been there before and just carries on only importing new e-mails.

Any help would be much appreciated

Connect to your Tiscali account via webmail to see if the old
messages are still there:
http://www.tiscali.co.uk/commscentre/email

Chances are they won't be, because POP mail client programs
like Windows Mail will delete messages from the server after
downloading them. If so, you could ask Tiscali customer service
if they can restore your messages from a backup tape, but if
they offer that service, there will be a hefty fee for that.

The other option is to try an undelete program, such as
http://www.recuva.com
