E-mail interface problem

When I use windows mail to connect to the e-mail server from my ISP, there
are two apparent interface issues. The first is the time received on the
server is always two hours earlier than the time received in my windows mail
inbox, Second the emails I delete in windows mail are not deleted on the e
mail server. Has anyone else had these problems? Solutions??

The time zone on your local computer is probably wrong. Click on the time,
right end of your Vista tool bar. The second probably has something to do
with the account configuration, Tools, Accounts, Properties, Advanced.

The first problem that you mention, could be one of either, your timezone is
not set correctly on your PC, or the actual server clock is set incorrectly?
The latter will be corrected eventually by the ISP, when they realise?

Your second problem, is not a WM or server issue, POP accounts do not delete
messages from the server simultaneously, unlike HTTP accounts. You need to
visit the server and remove them.

HTH?
