retreiving mail after re installing Vista?

I recently reinstalled Vista, but forgot to backup my mail files. Vista has
created an old Windows folder which has everything from my previous C drive
stored on it, however I don't know where windows mail stores mail files, or
what type of files these are to enable a search.

Any help would be appreciated.

Look under
\Windows.old\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders\...
