Where are the e-mails files?

When I was using Outlook, with Windows XP, I had the precautions to make
'backups' of my email (all *.eml files)
After that, with Windows Vista, I have spent some time using Windows Mail,
and I find mail files (even as they were stored in separate mailboxs).
I, recently, moved to Windows Live Mail, and I ask two thinks: Where are
the mail files? Is it remain whith " *.eml" ?

I answered your Spanish post. Yes, Windows Live Mail stores emails in .EML
format.
