Retreiving archived emails

I cannot find the archive.pst file to import archived
emails in Outlook 2000 running on Windows XP. Outlook
says it's been archiving to:

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst

However, there is no "Local Settings" folder in my
directory tree. I think auto-archive is working because I
get all the confirmation messages and my old emails are
dissappearing.
 
jut do as file search for .pst and ensure it is set to search for hidden
files. The archive might be named something else but it's unlikely.
