Hello,

I tried to search files in my CD rom drive (Drive E):
The result found shows in "In Folder" column:
C:\Documents and Setting\myname\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD
Burning\Filename.ext

Why it says in C folder ?

If I right click the file, and check, its information about location is
correct it is in E
If I search in C:\Documents and Setting about this file I can't find (in
this case it is correct)

Please help

Sincerely Yours,
pujo

Hi Ajikoe,

C:\Documents and Setting\myname\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD
Burning\Filename.ext

Have a look on the given web link:

http://www.ambrosiasw.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t104572.html

Local Settings is a hidden folder

For Showing Hidden Files and Folders:

1. Click Start.
2. Open My Computer.
3. Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
4. Select the View Tab.
5. Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and
folders.
6. Uncheck the Hide extension for known file types
7. Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
8. Click Yes to confirm.
9. Click OK.
