Restrictions

I have 3 computers all have windows xp home and they are
not networked, they all have the same problem that just
started recently, when I click on the tools button in
internet explorer (6) and try to open the internet
options window I get a pop up that says " this operation
has been cancelled do to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator."
What does this mean and how do I fix it!! I never put
any restrictions on these computers, I don't even know
how to. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

stacy, i have the same problem and no one has answered
it, i've been looking here for the past 3 days and
several other have asked this same question. i'm
guessing no one knows what the fix is???
