Restricted user cannot save/save as to Word

I have a strange one here. When a domain user is defined
as a Restricted local user they are unable to save or save-
as via word. There is no error, after you navigate to
save as or save, you are returned right back to the
document. If I make the user a local admin or Power user
they are able to save correctly. I'd like to avoid giving
this sort of access as it allows for the user to install
programs which can be harmnful to the system.

I thought there might be a registry permission issue but
am not sure where to navigate. The WinXP Professional O/S
and Office 2k Professional are fully patched.

Any ideas or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

When the limited account navs to Save As, are they
even given the file location/name picker dialog, or
do things just close up as soon as Save As is clicked
in the File menu ??
