Restoring window

When I restore my Microsoft Word window, the window just disappears
from the screen. Restoring is supposed to shrink down the window
(instead of maximizing). Do you know what might be wrong?

It may be positioned off-screen. After restoring, right-click the
Taskbar, click Cascade windows to bring it back on-screen.
