Restoring registry winxp

Hi, is there any way to manually restore the registry. I
cannot boot into Windows in normal more or safe mode
after installing a driver.

Perhaps a recovery console command or something?

Did you try 'last known good' ??

What was the driver? You may be able to use the recovery console
'disable' command to turn it off, if that's the root cause of your
problem.

Yes, you can also restore the registry, but that may not solve your
problem
