Restoring Previously Downloaded Updates

I think that I need to reload windows but do not want to
re-download all the previously downloaded updates. What
is the easiest way to save and restore the updates
currently on my system?

Keith;
The installed updates are not in a usable form on the computer.
However you can use the windows Update Catalog, download and burn to
CD for future use
