Restoring from Complete PC Backup

I have been running a trial version of Vista Enterprise Edition on my
computer and its license is running out in a few days. So, I would
like to back up my system and reinstall to the Vista Home Edition disk
that came with my PC.

I was wondering - is there any way to back up my entire system using
Complete PC Backup and somehow restore it once I'm back to Home
Edition (where there is no Complete PC Backup).

If not, does anyone have any suggestions for how to make this
reinstall as painless as possible?

Thanks!

Use the Easy Transfer wizard to save files and settings to CD/DVD/external
drive of some sort then restore them after the reinstall. No there's no way
to do what you want with Complete PC Backup - that would restore the
expiring system instead. :)
