Can I burn Vista Complete PC Backup files to DVD?

Hi~
I've made a Vista Complete PC Backup, and the backup files (12G!) were saved
on my Drive D:.
Now I want to take back the 12G space. I wonder can I burn this files into
DVD and then delete them? After doing this, can I normally restore my system
using the Complete PC Restore through that DVD?
Waiting for response. Thank you.

Backing up to the D drive is no backup at all because it's the same
"physical" drive as your C drive. The D drive is not meant for copying
anything to it.
To create Recovery Discs read the instructions in the documentation that
came with your PC.
Use an external hard drive for backups.

Hi Windy,

You can burn a Complete PC Backup to a set of DVDs but I would recommend
starting from scratch rather than attempting to burn the original backup
files to a set of DVD (while you could burn the original backup files to DVD
they may not work when you come to restore the files.)

I suggest you create new backup, only this time burn select the 'burn to
DVD' option instead of burn to disk. See this guide on my website:
