restoring files

I accidentally deleted a number of records in an access data base file and
the file was saved.

does anyone know how i can restore this file to an earlier version. i did
this once doing a system restore however have been advised against it

can anyone help me?

System Restore will not help. That only restores system files, not
end-user database files.

If you have not done anything else with the database file since you
acidentally deleted the records, you could send it to an Access data
recovery service. There are lots of those on the web. They should be
able to recover the data, *if* you have not messed with the file since
you deleted the records. I don't know what they would charge. It might
not be cheap.

Otherwise, it's a painful lesson for you: ***KEEP BACKUPS*** of all
your important files. You have to do that youself! The PC will not do
it automagically.
