restoring email settings after reformatting hard drive

This is probably very easy so excuse my ignorance. I'm reformatting my hard
drive for the first time and am copying all my files onto an external hard
drive. I'm not sure how to save all my e-mail accounts, address book and
messages onto the external drive so I can import them back into OE when I've
reinstalled it.

Any help appreciated.

For future reference, the best place for outlook express questions is in an
outlook express newsgroup. There is plenty of info on how to do this on
various web sites found by a Google search. Here is one to start with.
