Restoring a Users Profile in Windows XP

Dear All,
My Organization is performing a Migration from Windows 2000 to
Windows XP Pro SP2 for all of the end users. We are using the Symantec
Ghost Migration Services where they can upload their profile through
the web browser.
On one of the laptops, however, the Migration Services system
failed to do a profile backup. Since we did a full image backup of the
system, the task of restoring her
profile manually was bestowed upon me. So here is my attempt at
restoring her out profile:
1. Opened up the Image File containing her entire hard disk and copied
her old Windows 2000 profile under C:\Documents and Settings\ to the
equivalent folder on the new Windows XP system.
2. Set the permissions on the user profile's folder so that that
person has full access to the folder and selected the "Propagate to
All Child Objects Option"
3. Discovered the user's domain SID through the UserToSID tool easily
found online.
4. Under the Registry Key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList" I created a new key and set the name
to the SID that I discovered.
5. Opening that new key that I created, I created a String Value, named
it "ProfileImagePath" and put in the Path to the user's profile
in this format: "%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\USER LOGIN
ID"
6. Created a DWORD value named Flags and set it to 0.
7. Created a String Value named "CentralProfile" and set it to be
blank.

Since I don't have her password, I was enquiring about the following:

· Will she have any problems logging in?
· Is there anything I missed?
· Did I perform the right steps?

Thank you very much for your time and consideration in this matter!

Sincerely,

Christopher Koeber
