Problems switching USER profiles on Windows XP

Hello,

I am having problems switching profiles on Windows XP. We have three users
on my computer. When I get out of my profile and try to switch user to my
Mom's, she is unable to log on. If you click on her user profile icon, it
comes back to the user profile page and will not log her on.

Please advise how to solve this problem.

Do you use the "Switch User" function or the Logon/Logoff option?
If you haven't tried both, please try it - that'll help diagnose the issue.

I have started experiencing this also lately. I haven't yet been able
to determine what causes it, but have fixed it using System Restore.

Instead of using System Restore, you might try Line 34 at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Read the instructions
about using "regedit" files at the top of the page, and please report
back if this fixes your problem.
