Restore win 98 backup in XP

I need to restore files from a windows 98 backup (800 MB
qic file) under windows xp. Is there a program that will
do the restore?

Have you tried the backup under accessories\system tools?
Did you do the backup with the win98 backup utility?

If you have the home version of XP, it is my understanding
that the install does not copy the backup to your system,
you can extract it from your xp home cd the file is
ntbackup.exe.

Locate a Windows 98 box and tranfer the restored data from it to the XP
box.
