backing up from windows 98 to XP professional

I have tried to back up files from windows 98 and restore
them in XP professional. It seems that XPpro will not
recognize the qic file extension that 98 uses for back-
ups. Is it possible to backup from 98 to XPpro? Please

versions of Backup MyPC don't but this should

You need to have a 3rd party backup program installed in XP which can
read qic files. NTbackup which comes with XP does not. I don't know
what specific 3rd party progams can. Google for it. An alternative is
to use the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard which comes with XP. See
