Restore Points and HD Usage

Some people were reporting that their hard drives were getting more and more
used. I'd suggest checking the system restore points. The same thing is
happening on my computer. It keeps eating more and more of my hard drive.
Is there any way like in XP to limit the amount of hard drive usage system
restore uses? I don't like 5.2GB+ of my hard drive used for system restore.
A hint to those trying to free disk space from system restore. I tried
cleaning up system restore points with Disk Cleanup, but it did not help at
all. I had to go to the system properties and go to advanced system
settings. From there, go to the system protection tab. I had to disable
system protection on my Vista partition (E:) and apply the settings, then
re-enable system protection on my Vista partition and re-apply the settings
for it to free up disk space. From there, instead of 19GB of hard disk
space used, I had 13.8GB used.

Just boot to XP and those Vista restore points will be wiped out
for you. :-/

Yeah, I know but it's faster to disable and re-enable the system protection.
