Restore options for open/save attached file

By accident I changed the options for opening/saving files, and I no longer
get to choose, what I want to do with the attached file.

Anybody who knows, how to get the pop-up window back?

My Outlook is 2003 version and I have Vista.

This is a Windows setting and AFAIK this can only be modified via the
registry in Windows Vista.

You need to look in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT for the extension that you want to
change. So for a zip-file you locate;
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.zip

Note the (Default) value for that hive. For a zip-file this is;
CompressedFolder

Now locate that description in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT hive. So in our example
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CompressedFolder

Here you'll find a key named EditFlags. Double click to open it and change
the 3rd group of 2 digits to 00. In our example the default value for that
key is; 00 00 00 00

Thank you so much for your help. I succeded in making it all including the
button, and it worked. But then I wanted to change the name og picture. After
that I couldn't run the macro. This is what it says:

"This document was opened with Macros Disabled

A host application may disable or enable macros. This error has the
following causes and solutions:

You opened the document with Macros Disabled.
Close the document, and then reopen it with Enable Macros.

For additional information, select the item in question and press F1 (in
Windows) or HELP (on the Macintosh)."

I didn't do anything but the two changes I mentioned.

Click the Windows Start button (the Orb) and in the Search box, enter
"regedit.exe". Press Enter. This should start the Registry Editor where
you'll see what Robert is mentioning.
