restore issues

I cannot tell you when but my restore options no longer work,I get a error .
App name rstrui.exe
mod name srrstr.dll.
I went to ms help and they gave me a couple commands to try in run mode and
at the command prompt after putting my system in safe mode neither worked.
run mode C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
command line %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
any suggestions I would greatly appericiate it

At a command prompt, type the following and press Enter:
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\srrstr.dll

If an error occurs, check here for the error message:
