restore file asssociations

Hi,
I choose the open the *.reg files with Notepad, but now I want to restore
the default file assocation (i.e. when I double click on a *.reg file to
import the content into the registry) and I don't know how.

Pls advise!

Hi Crios,

Click start/run, type "control folders" (without the quotes) and click ok.
Go to the file types tab, scroll down to .reg and click on it, then on
advanced. Change the default action to 'merge' by clicking on it under the
actions, then on 'set default'.
