the dirve that held my AD failed. Installed new drive.
System running in directory services restore mode.

How do I duplicate information from unaffected DC to this
one to restore system to normal?

Hi Arno-

You cannot copy files over to fix this. The best method to recover would be
to restore from a system state backup on your server that had the drive
failure.

If you do not have a system state backup you will need to clean up
references to that server per the KB article below, and install Windows anew
on it and promote it back in to the domain as an additional domain
controller.
