restore deleted file

I attempted to email a file using the "send to..." option. The intended
recipient did not receive it, and when I tried to open it this morning, there
was no text. Can this file be retrieved or recovered?

Is it in your sent folder of Outlook anyway? Perhaps it
was sent be she did not receive.

You also may try looking at the folder into which you are
saving your documents, to see if there is a temp or .bak
file close to the time of your sending the original one.

If it isn't in your outbox or a copy in the sent folder of your e-mail
software and you didn't save the document, then no.
