I am running Windows XP Pro(SP2) on an AMD Sempron 2400+ with 1GB of RAM.
Every time that i go to a website with a pre-loaded midi song, my computer
restarts. It was doing the same for a game that was using the Microsoft GS
Wavetable SW Synth device for its music. The game let me enble another
device to play the sound so I already have a work around for that issue. But
I don't like going to a website and then the computer restarting or going to
the BSOD and telling me that there was a system fault caused by swmidi.sys.
Some of the information that I got from the BSOD was this: swmidi.sys -
Address F3454ED base at F3450000, DateStamp 3b7d85fa also
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and then there is this: Stop: 0X00000050
(0XDEA809F1, 0X00000000, 0XF
025EED, 0X0000000) Any help on this would be great.
