my pc recently started to do strange stuff.it is turning off without notice
and then restarts and it is very bad because i cant do anything
important.please help me

What error messages?

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Right click
on the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties,
Advanced, Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck
box before Automatically Restart.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure until you have
resolved the problem. Check for variants of the Stop Error message.

There will also be Error Reports in Event Viewer. Look in the
System log. Please post a copy.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools,
Event Viewer. When researching the meaning of the error, information
regarding Event ID, Source and Description are important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. This will paste the info from the Event Viewer Error
Report. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from Event
Viewer.

Two interpretations of the error report come quickly
to mind.

An upgrade or installation of your anti-virus, carried out
shortly before the Error began to occur, has failed to
execute properly.

An alternative is that a virus has knocked out your
anti-virus programme. If this is possible do an online
scan with one of the tools referred to in the link, which
follows:

the error i found in the event viewer is -
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Date: 12/20/2006
Time: 10:32:20 AM
User: N/A
Computer: DESKTOP
Description:
The AntiVir Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

This looks more like something that is failing to start up again after the
reboot has taken place, not really a cause for the reboot itself. You don't
see any "STOP" errors listed, or "the system has rebooted from a bugcheck" ?
If not, then I'd say Windows was running fine and the interruption could be
caused by a hardware problem. Usually if Windows crashes, it will log
something whereas hardware failures don't allow time for that.

Some things to look into when troubleshooting hardware for sudden reboots:
Are the fans inside your computer working ok? Are you in an area with a lot
of power spikes (consider a UPS system to provide a clean feed of power)?
