I scheduled a checkdisk on my computer then restarted.
My system is now in a never ending loop trying to
complete a checkdisk and I can't get it to skip the
checkdisk or restart normally. Any answers?

Boot int othe Windows XP intall disc, select R for recovery
console and rerun chkdsk from there. (use CHKDSK C: /p,
don't forget to type 'exit' to restart!)
This should clear the NTFS Dirty flag on the volume and
stop AUTOCHK from starting on boot.
