Resolution stuck at 640

I have no idea if I put this in the right place, sorry if I didn't.
Anywayyyy,

I reinstalled XP, and now my resolution is stuck at 640. I followed the HELP
section, which says to go under Advanced in the properties setting, click
moniters then properties. But properties isn't clickable in the monitors tab,
so I have no idea what to do. Everything else seems to be working fine.
Any suggestions?
 
Go to the computer/video card manufacturers website.
Download and install the latest video driver.
