I recently installed linux on my system and decided to uninstall it.
However i cannot figure out how to get my main partition back to full size(i
used part of it for linux) How can this be done just using normal included
windows utilities

It can not be done with what is supplied with Windows XP (or any other
version of Windows). Get Partition Magic (latest version) or a comparable
program.

Try this 'Boot CD with QTParted'
(http://www.sysresccd.org/download.en.php). At the prompt, type:

run_qtparted

It has most of the functionality of PM for free.
