resizing new windows

I recently noticed that on my ZP Pro w/SP2 machine that when I click on the
lower right corner of a window (where the grey dots form a triangle) and try
to drag it to enlarge a window - that process does not work. Any suggestions
on how I can resotre this feature.
Since I use a MS wireless Intellimouse and wireless keyboard, how can I
change the BIOS or whatever is necessary to be able to boot to safe mode or
setup (DEL) during system bootup? I don't need those features often, but
having to plug in a wired keyboard just to do it is a pain. Any suggestions?

You will require a corded keyboard.. when in BIOS, look for options to
enable USB keyboard and mouse support, and enable them.. exit and continue
into safe mode..
