Resizing a volume

C

chistian

Hi,

I have created 5 volumes (c: d: e: f: g:) with different sizes. I want now
to delete the g: volume to increase the size of c: volume.
Somebody knows how to do that ?

Thanks in advance

I don't think that you can do that. The system volume, especially on a
dynamic disk - that I presume that you are using - won't extend.

A possibility might be to mount the G: volume as a folder within C:, as
this MS Knowledge Base article explains:

Partition Magic or the like. And you will have to move F: E: and D: and
then reduce the extended partition and then you can increase C to take
up the slack. Make GOOD backups, as you may cause a problem somewhere
along the way.
