Hi there...
In certain e-books that use IE as their actual "viewer" I
always get the following error (an example):
It's a typical IE error page (page not found)...
************
The page you are looking for might have been removed or
had its name changed.
------------------------------------------------
Please try the following:
Open the res://shdoclc/syntax.htm#e-book:// home page,
and then look for links to the information you want.
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make
sure that it is spelled correctly.
**************
I can find this file on my system: "shdoclc.dll"
I have already spent some time searching the internet and
there are plenty of references to others having similar
issues in IE (not just e-books)... but most of the
answers point to a commercial utility of some kind. I
have already tried two of those with no results.
Should I go so far as to re-install windows?
