reregistering windows xp?

Help! Please! I have win xp home edition an bought computer from comp usa,but
the software is registered too them,hoe can i get there name off of it
without dumping the hd an reinstalling everything again. i just want it
registered too me;can it be done? Again ,please help.This shows up in the
general tab of my computer.
 
you may be able to re-register the system by downloading tweak XP, use the
trial version and look through the program until you find the registration
tweak, look through all of the tweaks.
 
go to: start run, type: regwiz /i "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion"

OR: go there in the registry (local Machine hive) and doubleclick the
"RegisteredOwner" Value in the right pane to change the data.
