No One

Hi all ...

I am the one and only user on my system. I am not at all concerned with
anyone else logging into the computer as it is in a secure location.

I do not now have to Login as myself when I boot that machine. It goes to
the desktop without any action by me, so for example it can complete booting
and execute the startup programs without my intervention. Yet when I
install a recommended update to add a .NET framework it then requires me to
click the little logo for myself to complete the startup.

Is there a way to configure the system to have the recommended .NET
framework installed and still skip having to log in as myself on a sole user
system?

You can also use the following easy steps to enable automatic logon:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type: control userpasswords2 , and then click OK.
3. In the dialog box that appears, clear the "Users must enter a user name
and password to use this computer" check box, and then click OK.
