"Requesting Data From Microsoft Exchange Server" pop up message

We are running W2K professional and outlook 2002 sp3. The "Requesting Data
From Microsoft Exchange Server" popup appears occasionally. This did not
happen when we were using outlook 2000. What could cause this in outlook
2002 but not in outlook 2000?

Thanks,

That notification dialog didn't exist in Outlook 2000. Outlook would just
hang instead or appear sluggish for a few minutes.
