Outlook 2003 worked perfectly until this week. Then whenever I reply to an
e-mail, it send a copy to my inbox also. Annoying.

I tried to do a repair, but it's still happening.

Checked your rules already?

After furious head scratching, Trishdish asked:

are you using Reply to Reply to All?

if reply to all, is the address on the email message when it arrives the
same as you have set up in your profile?

I am using only REPLY TO...and have never had this issue until this week.
Mostly I only reply to individuals.

Is it actually being sent to you or is it simply stored in your Inbox? For
something to be send to you, you will receive it during Send/Receive,
meaning it will arrive and be visible in your Inbox several minutes later
instead of instantaneously.

Ok, looks like it is being "stored" because it appears instantaneously.

Any suggestions? Appreciate your time.

When you press Options while composing to what folder does it say it will
store the Sent Item? Does the item show there as well?
What version of Outlook and type of mail account are we talking about here
anyway?

It says to store in SENT ITEMS folder; yes it does send a copy there and also
to my inbox. Outlook 2003 SP2; IMAP/SMTP thru Aol account. This only began
happening within the last day or so, never before.
