Outgoing e-mail address alias

I have set up my outlook with my new ISP and their e-mail address
'telefonica.net' - everything works fine. Now I have set up e-mail
forwarding as my actual e-mail address is with another domain 'rk.com' - so
in Outlook I have changed the Reply To Address to point to the 'rk.com'
e-mail address but I also want to change the set up so that any new outgoing
e-mails I create are sent using this alias. For previous ISPs (I think) I
just changed the existing 'telefonica.net' currently defined as E-mail
Address in Internet E-Mail Settings (POP3) to the 'rk.com' address.....but
now it doesn't seem to work and I get an error when sending a test message

Hope someone can help as its really annoying me!!

Only change the address but leave the login info untouched.

I get the following error message;

Send test e-mail message: Unable to send test Message. Please verify the
e-mail address field.

I have also tried entering other valid e-mail addresses but get same problem.
The log in details are unchanged and are correct as per ISP.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Ask your ISP, they could have restrictions in place for this. Doesn't your
domain hosting come with an SMTP server which you can use?

Sometimes an ISP will require that you must use their email address when you
send through their SMTP message submission server. Does your domain host for
'rk.com' not provide an SMTP message submission server for you to use?
