I use Outlook 2002 and would like to change my 'reply to' address. Outlook
automagically put in my current ISP address for the reply to but I want my
permanant address in there instead. I looked in 'Tools/e-mail accounts' and
didn't find anything. TIA for any help.

There are E-mail and Reply-To fields in the e-mail account definition.
You put whatever you want in those fields (they are *data* sent during
your e-mails, not anything your mail server puts in - unless you are
using Exchange as your mail server).

Thanks, but I tried looking for the E-mail and Reply-to fields in the e-
mail account tab. I never found that option. I can view/change an existing
account or create a new one. I tried the view/change option but no tabs for
Reply-to address came up?

You don't define/modify accounts under the Tools -> Options menu.
That is just the program's options, not the e-mail account
configuration. Go edit your e-mail ACCOUNTS, not Outlook's options.
It is the same dialog window where you define what mail hosts to use
for an e-mail account, what ports to use, etc. The E-mail and
Reply-To fields are also part of the account's definition. When
opening an e-mail account to modify it, the first window has the
"E-mail" field. To get at the other config settings for the account,
click on the "More Settings" button.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. I did what you suggested and
everything seems to be working great. Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,
Rick
