Replacing "-" with "."

Does anyone know how I can replace all of my " - "
with " . " in outlook 2003 - I have
over 1000 contacts so I can't do them individually. I try to export to
excel but name that i'd like to change is in "file as" field and it
cannot be exported to excel. (If it does pls tell me how)
Any help will be a god send.

File as uses the name and company information from a contact - you can't
remove or change "-" if outlook is adding them as a separator.
