Replacement for MS Mail in Outlook Xp

I think I really messed up here. After installing office
Xp, I no longer have my "MS Mail" Post Office. I am in a
small office and we have been using that as our mail
server... now it is no longer the Postoffice address
list. Is there a replacement for it that doesn't require
us to install Microsoft Exchange... we are a small office
without an IT department, so too much networking is out of
our abilities.

Please help, I am in trouble.
