replacement for HP 1100DTN or where/how to get one

What current printer would be the closest to the now discontinued HP 1100
DTN?
Still comes up in froogle and some other price search engines for around
$300 or so
(a very tempting price, I might say), but apparently no one has them any
more.
Anyone knows a place that still has them?

I need a sturdy, instant on, networkable printer with low operating cost,
good black,
and business color capability. I don't care much about photo printing and
all that
6 or 7 ink gimmicks.

Alternatively, can I install a network card in the 1100D, which seems to be
still
available to a very linited degree? If yes, how much is that network card?

TIA

The current equivalent is the K550 with networking and second tray.
Apparently, unlike the 1100d and 1200d, these parts are not 'add-ons',
you have to buy the whole setup all at once. But I'm not entirely sure
about this. Not available in most stores, only their website has it.

If I were you, I'd look into finding a 1200dtn (one year newer than
the 1100dtn) on eBay. You can also usually find the second tray and
the network addition as well. These printers still seem to go for
quite a bit.

Hi,

Both the 1100dtn and the 1200dtn come with network cards and second
paper tray.

The K550 does not come wuith network card or a second tray, you have to
get the K550dtn to match the 1100dtn.
