replace oem version

When I installed the Verizon DSL software it altered my verion of IE6. I'd
like to revert to the standard version, but when I tried an
uninstall/reinstall (control panel/add remove/update windows components) I
ended up with the Verizon version.

Does anyone have a procedure to install the original IE6? The Verizon
software was installed long enough ago that system restore is not an option.

Thanks. Searching that area of the registry I found where "Verizon..." was
added to the title. When I removed that, the fixed Verizon content on MSN
also went away, which was what I really wanted.
