Replace Master Hard drive

R

Riz1

I have upgraded my master harddrive from 10gb to 60gb on a
dell system. The o/s is W2k.

At booting, a blue screen with a "limited virtual memory"
pops up complaining about not missing a pagefile or it
being too small. I have xcopied a pagefile.sys on the new
harddrive in both the root directory and /winnt
directory. I have also repaired the drive with W2k
installation CD. No change.

Anybody have any ideas!!!

How did you upgrade your drive? One supported method is to do a full backup
including system state, put in new drive, do new install and then do full
restore including system state. It appears that whatever method you used
changed your drive letter.
