Replace IE6 "blue e" icon with IE5 version

Is there a simple way to replace, permanently and
everywhere, the pastel blue e icon that comes with IE6? I
would much prefer to use the less-obnoxious IE5 version of
the blue e logo.

Thanks.

I believe the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) can do this. Check
out http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ieak/downloads/ieak6/ieak6sp1.asp.

Please note that the IEAK is primarily targetted at larger shops, ISPs and
the like, rather than end users. But you could probably use it to create
your own branded version of IE, using any image you liked.

Interesting trivia fact: the image that we're discussing is called the
"throbber".
