Replace Hard Drive

I have run out of room on my hard drive. Does any know if
there are step by step directions on how to replace a hard
drive on a Windows XP Pro computer?

old drive to the new one.

I did that, but wasted my money. The software supplied with the hard drive did
the job just fine.

So what's the problem, also why not just relaod windows and just
do a clean install and then just copy your data over
