Repetative "New Hardware Found Notifications".

Recently have been getting 'non-stop' 'New Hardware
Found' messages even though the hardware, a USB connected
Canon Printer, has been installed and working? Every time
I click 'cancel' or 'finish' it keeps coming back? The
Knowledge Base database wasn't any help.
