Repairing windows on 2ndary HD

Hello, I was having problems geeting my computer to boot
to my harddrive. So I installed a 2ndary hard drive
loaded my other copy of windows XP, and now I can acces
my first harddrive and everything looks AOK. Is there
anyway I can run a repair on my 2ndary hard drive while
booted in my other one. I just want to know why it wont
boot and I thought a repair would do some good. So is it
possible to run a repair on a secondary hard drive, and
if so how? Thanks for all your help!
 
What needs repairing..There's several repairs,install xp cd,restart computer,boot to cd
select recovery,press enter key for password,at cmd screen type:CHKDSK C: /
C: can be any drive,or type:CHKDSK /p For fix..for a complete description of al
recovery options,go to search,type:31405
For the drive with xp on it,go to run,type:cmd in cmd type:Sfc /Scanno
Youll need the xp cd to run.
