Windows not reading LBA HDDs

I have an old LBA updated BIOS with 2 Western Digital discs,XP sp2 Home OEM
desktop.
C:\ WD2000JB 200GB
F:\ WD1600JB 160GB

At one point I had both working smoothly but I reformmated F: and split 2
partitions, #1 for a 2ndary XP backup boot, #2 for backup files, storage etc.
My problem is that windows (as well as Partition Magic) no longer reads F: as
160GB but as 80GB. Both drives boot and are operational.

before I updated the BIOS ( a year ago) with LBA, Windows could read the
full capacity so is this a MB quirk?

Are the HDDs detected correctly in BIOS, if not then there is the
problem

I just manually inputted both the drives cylinders, sectors and heads into
the mobo with no effect, F:\160GB is still showing as 80GB. Im going to have
to repartition it and reinstall windows. sucks.

How do I clone a bootable partition to another drive? Is there a MS utility
like norton ghost I could use??

No MS utilities for that. Ghost, Acronis True Image or Bing (BootIt NG)
which has a 30 day full featured free trial version.

Well the Bios HDD configuration utilitity has preset options up to 160MB or
else manual input or the more useful "Autodetect". The chipset has been
updated (Intel 850E) and im at Intel's site right now looking for more.

As I was using both drives before (but never together)and were functional, I
was curious if the two together is past the limits of the BIOS's EIDE
comtroller or if I need to format it within windows (home) XP SP2 environment?
(I formatted with WD tools v.11, >format for OS XP SP1 or higher< which
assumingly should create the correct cylinders, heads and so on?)
