Hey all ...

I'm wanting to do a repair fo IE6 SP1 under O/S WinXP but
I can't find an option or provision to do it anywhere.

You can't remove or reinstall IE6 and I can't just
install over the top of it so what do I do ? I would
appreciate anyones feedback or solution ... :)

Many thanks

I find myself in a similar predicament with W2K, even though probably an
altogether different issue. But, after applying the latest W2K service pack,
my internet tools/repair option completely disappeared from the add/remove
programs utility. IE6 continues working fine, but I haven't the slightest
idea how to get back my internet tools/repair option.

same here
can not find a fix

I don't have XP but you can try this Run command....

Select the Start\Run menu option to display the Run dialog.

Enter (or Copy and Paste) the following

rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance
Having the same problem. Trying to 'run' the above gives - error loading
setupwbv.dll. The specified module could not be found.
